Reklis x Lahout's - Joe's Lager

Reklis x Lahout's - Joe's Lager

A storm is brewing at rek’-lis and we had to bring in the experts to handle this one.

Backed with a hundred years of experience in the local ski scene across the north county, there were no better friends than the Lahouts to bring in to brew this winter’s best aprés ski beer. It was very fun working with the Reklis team learning how to brew and collaborate on a beer that is for that pure New England skier.

Introducing Joe’s Lager, an American Light Lager.

Joe’s Lager will take you back in time—to the golden era of North Country ski culture. Back when the slopes of Cannon were filled with bluebird days, steep lines, and a carefree spirit. You and your crew shredded without a thought for the dangers ahead, because being a little rek’-lis on the mountain was all part of the fun.

But the best part? The nights. Après-ski bars buzzing with locals, where every face was a familiar one. After a long day on the mountain, you’d walk in, toss down your gear, and dive into the action. Dance to jukebox hits. Sink a few balls on the pool table. Knock back an ice-cold, no-frills lager on tap for just a buck.

Joe’s Lager revives that spirit for today’s North Country ski scene—a beer brewed for the slopes, the stories, and the good times that come after.

This light, crushable American lager is the epitome of an après-ski beer. It’s made for the average Joe, the Joey skiing in jeans, the Joe Schmo, and especially Joe Sr., who carved deep lines on the slopes of Cannon Mountain. At just 4%, it’s the perfect beer to crush while keeping your turns sharp all day long.

More importantly, Joe’s Lager was brewed to honor Joe Lahout Sr. himself. Joe was a force to be reckoned with both in the shop and on the slopes. On any winter day outside the store, you’d find him tackling the steeps of Cannon Mountain. It only made sense to craft an honest, light lager that reflects his work ethic, passion for skiing, and the deep roots he laid in the North Country.

Joe’s Lager is available in cans and on tap at Reklis, at Cannonball Pub & your local NH brew shops.

Ski and drink responsibly!
